Scripture: Matthew 6:27, 34
Devotion: In the natural it is easy to worry, but when you know God and you know that He can do anything but fail, it takes all the natural worrying away. In chapter 6 in the book of Matthew Jesus reminds us that there is no need to worry about tomorrow because tomorrow has its own problems. What good does it do us to worry? Even this chapter reminds us that worrying isn’t going to add time onto our life. Leave all the things you would worry about in God’s hands. When you feel like you are going to worry, pray instead. When you are facing things in life that are bigger than you and you don’t know what to do, pray and ask God to heal your unbelief and believe that God will work it out in your favor. Remember that He is Jehovah Jireh our provider, and Jehovah Rapha our healer, and Jehovah Shalom our peace, and Jehovah Nissi our banner! God has already won every battle we will ever face in life because He’s gone before us to straighten the path for us, if we submit to Him (Proverbs 3:6). He has a plan for our lives and it’s to see us prosper and have hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). So don’t worry, just pray, and God will make a way!
Prayer: Lord I thank you for carrying all of my cares and worries because they can be heavy and overwhelming. I pray that you help my unbelief when I’m faced with things that try to waver my faith in you. I pray that I remember to come to you and pray about everything so that I worry about nothing and take each day as a new day for you to work in me and build my testimony.

Devotion: It is amazing what the power of God can do and how your life can be transformed by a simple relationship with God. The Lord has set us free from any bondage that the world may bring. So, whenever you are dealing with situations that become overwhelming and you just don’t know what to do to fix it, call on God, leave it all in His hands because He has already made a way of escape. God is only waiting on you to ask Him for help, and mean it wholeheartedly. As fast as you can ask, God will be making changes in your life to make your hearts’ desires come to pass. Nothing changes if nothing changes! You can’t keep doing the same things and expecting different outcomes. Try God for yourself and see how amazing He can be and how He has already set you free!
Prayer: Lord I thank you for the freedom you have blessed me with through our relationship. I thank you for always being there for me even when I wasn’t there for myself. I ask that you continue to lead me and guide me and teach me to truly depend on you in all areas of my life, especially in the areas that challenge me the most, so that You aren’t just showing me how great You are but people in my life can see it as well. Thank you for continuously building my testimony with your grace and favor upon my life.

Scripture: Isaiah 43:18-19
Devotion: In Isaiah 43, Isaiah reminds people of God’s promises. God said He would do a new thing in them. When He said a new thing, people should remember that it meant them as a whole, inside and out, mentally, spiritually, physically, emotionally, financially, etc. He said do not remember the former things or consider the old things, meaning don’t dwell on the past or focus on what used to be or how you or someone else used to be. Focus on the now and how to move towards the future. In order to move forward you have to make changes in your life. Change habits, get rid of things that you don’t need or use, stop saving broken stuff that won’t or can’t be fixed, etc. Then, God will make the new things happen and it will manifest right before your eyes. Speak the positive change that you want to see, instead of the stuff that you don’t like and see it start to happen. You have the power to speak it into existence ( Proverbs 18:21). As I reflected on verse 19 that says He will make roads in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, it gave me revelation to its manifestation in my own life. Seeing roads that used to dead end into deserts now being extended into new built neighborhoods, and riverbeds that used to be dry now having water residing in them. God is already working things out for our good (Romans 8:28), He’s just waiting for us to do our part so He can do His!
Prayer: Lord I thank you for the revelation that you are already present and working in my life. I thank you for leaving the past in the past and filling me with new things in my future. I ask that You work in me to focus on the future and speak those positive things that I desire into the atmosphere. Teach me to also see the best and change in others so that they can also see it in me.

Scripture: II Corinthians 8:10-11
Devotion: In Second Corinthians advice is given. In verse 8 Paul explains how this is not a command but it is advice to try to help bring the best out in everyone. The advice that is given encourages people to not quit on the things that they have started to do but to remember their reason why, remember the enthusiasm they had when they first started, and complete it! No matter what it is, find your enthusiasm, your motivation, your reason why and keep striving to completion (I Corinthians 9:24)! No matter if it’s your health, school, work, a goal, giving, reading, anything… if you’ve started it in the past or have a passion to start something now, and you see a better you because of it, keep going, don’t give up. Strive to be your very best and know that nothing will be lacking (II Corinthians 8: 14-15) because you have a village of supports there for you and the first one is Jesus.
Prayer: Lord I thank you for being on the front line for me everyday. I thank you for being Jehovah Jirah and supplying all of my needs while I am working towards completion. I thank you for being Jehovah Nissi and protecting me from all deterrents headed in my direction. I ask that you continue to give me encouragement to complete all things that I start and allow me to only start things wholeheartedly and with enthusiasm so that it gives me the zeal to complete them all.

Devotion: How well do you stand under pressure? Do you sweat? Do you melt ?Do you get scared? Do you become overwhelmed? Do you give up? What is your strength? Where does your strength lie? We have to remember that our strength lies in He, the one they call IAM. Period,.. when your mind is focused on what God has in store for you, then you can quote “no weapon formed against me shall prosper”; “ye though I walk through the valley of death, I shall not fear no evil”; “I am more than a conqueror.”You have to start putting a word over your life just like you need holy oil to anoint your body. The word is like an anointment as well over your life and remember, out of the mouth, you speak life and death. So let’s start speaking life over ourselves and not give in to the qualms of life, and remember pressure ,pressure is a substance of gratification and produces some of the rarest objects and things, as well as splendid attributes. Just think of the diamond, something so beautifully crafted and uniquely beautiful in its own way goes through immense pressure. Remember, pressure produces stability in our hearts, minds, and spirit if we stand up well under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, which gives us peace in the middle of a storm. Prayer: Lord, thank you for your word and reminder on today. I thank you for strengthening me through every circumstance and situation in life. I thank you for opening my eyes to see the many opportunities that are presented to me in the trials, and what could look like a crisis in life, because you only allow us to go through tests to build our testimonies, to go through trials so that we can be triumphant in the end because of You. I ask that you continue to be my guide on this journey called life; continue to lead me in the direction that is following Your will for my life so that I will become victorious in all situations. Scripture: Judges 9: 10-11
Devotion: in Judges 9 an image of trees looking for a king is given as the trees go to each type of tree asking it to be its king. It’s something to think about that in judges 9:11, which, in the natural, we relate 911 to emergencies, and in this verse the fig tree is presented. This is an eye-opener and something to think about because the fig tree was asked to allow all the other trees to follow it as their king, but the fig tree replied with a question instead. Would you be willing to give up your peace, prosperity, and blessings from God so that you could be followed by those in the natural, rather than being blessed by the Lord with abundance. It’s just something to think about. Where do your priorities lie, and what is most important to you. What are you willing to give up and/ or stand for?
Prayer: Lord, I thank you for being my greatest motivation. I thank you for making me to be a person who can try their best to be a reflection of you in a world that doesn’t make it easy. I thank you for teaching me that I don’t have to be perfect and as long as I keep my focus on you and making choices that reflect you, the blessings will follow, the abundance will come, that you will always be Jehovah Jireh, my provider. I ask that when those tough questions are asked of me in the natural, that my spirit is strong to keep you first so that not only I follow you, but I teach others to follow you too.

Scripture: I Samuel 15:22
Devotion: In first Samuel, Samuel is talking to Saul and asking him if the Lord would be happy with burnt offerings and sacrifices over obeying what the Lord has commanded you to do. Samuel gives clarification that obeying God is always better than making a sacrifice. If the Lord tells you to do something and you decide to pick and choose the parts to do or you decide to sacrifice something instead, it is considered disobeying God. You always want to do exactly what the Lord has told you to do because we know in obeying God, blessings will always follow.
Prayer: Lord I thank you for giving clarity to being obedient to the commands you give to us as individuals. I ask that you teach us to put your will and your way before ours so we can be obedient, knowing that no sacrifice we make will ever be greater than doing what You tell us to do in completion. Show us in ways that you know we will be receptive to, so that we know it is only you giving the command, as well as the blessings that follow for being obedient.

Scripture: Proverbs 18:21
Devotion: In proverbs 18:21 it says that “death and life are in the power of the tongue” (KJV) and people hear this saying often but don’t take heed to how powerful this statement really is. In the message translation it breaks it down to say that “words kill, words give life.” This makes me think of growing up and how your elders would tell you if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. That wasn’t just telling you to be nice or to spare the other person’s feelings, it was telling you to think about your own soul. What do you sow and reap from the words that come out of your mouth? How much more energy do you exhaust from focusing on the negative? How much lighter and at peace do you feel when you focus and speak on the positives in all situations? Next time you get ready to rant about anything negative, pause and try to pull something positive out of the situation. If you can’t, go to God in prayer and ask Him to give you clarity and direction on what to do to make the situation better. Speak positively into your atmosphere, focus on the good while working on the not so good, and watch how God moves in your life to bring life because you’ve spoken life and not death, or negativity, into the atmosphere.
Prayer: Lord I ask that you help me to focus my mind on the positive in my life. Guard my thoughts and mouth from thinking and speaking negatively into the atmosphere, bringing death into situations to manifest, rather that speaking life to change them for the better. Thank you for change, thank you for wisdom, thank you for discernment. I ask that the days, weeks, months, and years to come be guided by You and filled with life because of You and the things that will positively manifest because I speak life into them.

Devotion: In Exodus there are 10 plagues. During the second plague of frogs, Pharaoh saw the power of the Lord our God and gave Him all acknowledgment. Moses was the vessel to show Pharaoh how powerful God truly is in his obedience to what God told him to do. If you leave everything in God’s hands and open your ears to hear God and your eyes to see what God is showing you (Deuteronomy 29:4), He will prove in your life how powerful He is as well.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for being Adonai, our Lord, and El Sha Ddai, who is all sufficient. Thank you for teaching me to let control go because you’ve already worked it out for my good, as it is says in Romans 8:28. Teach me to hear You and see You and discern what is You and what You will for me to do. Thank you for working in my life so that not only I see how great and powerful you are but others do too.

Doors will open, blessings will flow, bills will be paid, and at first you won’t understand but it’s nothing but God showing you better than He can tell you.

Devotion: In Isaiah 6:8 Isaiah says “Here am I, send me!” He is telling God that he is ready to be used by Him. Before this occurred Isaiah examined himself and saw the impurities and sins within himself and admitted those things. He was cleansed, forgiven, and ready to serve. Isaiah was told “Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven. (NLT)” He was then given an assignment from God. You can also examine yourself and talk to God and put yourself in a place to be ready to serve Him. As you do so He will show you in so many ways how what you are doing for Him is right. The blessings will flow, the doors will open, the healing and abundance will happen.
Prayer: Lord, here am I, use me as your vessel. Cleanse me from anything that is not of You. Close doors in my life that don’t lead to You. Build me up in You so that I can be strong and confident in knowing that what I am doing is what You will in my life. Continue to lead me and guide me so that I not only build my relationship with You but I also lead others to a greater relationship with You. Let all that I do be pleasing in Your sight.

Philippians 4:7-9 reads, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind, in Jesus Christ. Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, Whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent Or praiseworthy - think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put it into practice. And the God of peace Will be with you.” So we are to be imitators of Christ walking in his Image.
Prayer: Lord, I thank you for showing me and teaching me the things I should do and say and think. I ask You to continue to remind me of these things, correcting my ways to be more like your ways, and filling my heart and my mind with You. Correcting my speech to be more pleasing to You, knowing that life and death lies in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21) and that blessings and cursing cannot come out of the same space (Matthew 12:36-37). So I ask that You allow only life and blessings to be thought, felt, and spoken over me and through me so that I can be more like You, and that people can see You in all that I do. I thank you for using me to be a vessel to spread Your word and build Your kingdom. Continue to use me and fulfill Your will within me, knowing that You created me for a purpose, and I am fulfilling that purpose for You!

Scripture: Job 1:22
Devotion: no matter what we are going through in life, we need to remember that God gives us faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of them is love. (1 Corinthians 13). Sometimes we can’t understand why things happen or why we are going through the valleys we go through, but God only allows the things of His will to transpire. He takes us to our highest points on the mountains, and He’ll always bring us through our lowest in the valleys, as long as we stay steadfast on him and know that He gives us the greatest love of all to get us through anything that we are facing. When you feel like you can’t take anymore, look to the Lord for strength and He will provide it to you (II Corinthians 12:9).
Prayer:
Lord, we thank you for being a constant in our lives. We thank you for being an Uplifter when the world can weigh us down. We thank you for being Jehovah shalom and bringing peace when the world can feel full of turmoil. We thank you for being Jehovah Rafa our healer, mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We thank you for being Jehovah Jireh our provider and meeting every need. Thank you for loving us more than we could ever love ourselves. Lord, we ask that you strengthen us today to keep pressing forward towards You and we thank you for building us up in You so that we can see You in all situations.

It is easy to doubt in the flesh, but when you know God, you know that He doesn’t give you a spirit of fear (II Timothy 1:7), but God does give you power, love, and a sound mind when facing anything that life brings your way. So don’t give your flesh more power Than God, because God has already gone before us to be victorious in everything that we come up against. Anytime you’re questioning what decision to make, ask God to help your unbelief (Mark 9:24). Even though we have faith in God, it is easy to second-guess yourself in trying to make the best choices, but no matter what, have discernment from God on when to be still, and when it’s time to act to keep moving forward.
Prayer:
Lord, I thank you for helping my unbelief. I thank you for canceling out fear in my life and filling me with power, filling me with love, and giving me a sound mind. I thank you for going ahead of me and already winning every battle that I face. I ask that you give me discernment in all situations so that it works out for my good and that you get the glory out of it.

Devotion: if God is the author and finisher of our life, then whom can be against us right (Romans 8:31)! For we know He is the creator of creation, infinite in His glory. A god of correction and one of order, and not just that, but also a god of war. I say that to further our understanding that He has already won the battle! See I don’t think you grasp what I’m saying, AGAIN, He has already won the battle, so there is no fight! There’s only what you and I wrestle against daily because of the intermittent forms of sin, but through it all, He’s loving, forgiving, just pure. Your majesty! My everything! Our all, and because of it, we have His grace, mercy, and favor.
Prayer: Lord, I thank you for being with me at all times wherever I go. I thank you for giving me strength to get through all that life brings. Prayer: Lord, thank you for being Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and not being like man that you should lie (Numbers 23:19), but our Father in heaven that always keeps His promises.
